Carrie Underwood 's Husband Discusses Move To Nashville

Carrie Underwood's hockey player husband says the transition to Nashville has been rather easy for him, but not for some of his fans. Mike Fisher was recently traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators, and he admits that at first he was a bit apprehensive about the change. But He tells the "Vancouver Sun" God took care of things, explaining, quote, "He put me in a place I was comfortable with and...the place I'm supposed to be and that's comforting for sure."

But Fisher admits some his fans back in Ottawa haven't been quite as accepting -- and some even blame Carrie. One pop station announced a ban on Underwood's music -- even though she wasn't on the playlist to begin with. Mike says it was hard on Carrie, who was "extremely disappointed and frustrated" when she learned about it because, quote, "obviously Carrie had nothing to do with the move or the trade or anything so to imply something like that was just wrong." He adds that it was a learning experience for him as well, as he continues to discover both the benefits and drawbacks to being married to one of today's top country stars.
