Billy Ray Cyrus Puts Priority On "Mending My Family"

Billy Ray Cyrus says he's focused on mending his family. In a statement to "People" magazine, the country star is offering an apology of sorts for the remarks he's made recently, calling them, "explosive, and unintentionally so." He says rebuilding bonds with his loved ones is his priority, explaining, quote, "My family is the most important thing I have, and we are working together to make sure our future is stronger and healthier." The singer adds, quote, "It is all a learning process, and we thank everyone for their support and respect of our privacy as we sort through very important family issues."

Billy Ray's efforts have taken him back to Los Angeles. He returned to Tennessee last fall, as he was filing for divorce from his wife, Tish, and his daughter Miley was embroiled in her bong smoking controversy. But the singer says he's back on the West Coast to be with Tish and their eleven-year-old daughter, Noah.
