The latest installment in the "Twilight" franchise is leading the charge for recognition at tonight's People's Choice Awards. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is nominated for eight awards. The film is competing for Favorite Movie against box office hits such as "Inception," "Alice In Wonderland," "Iron Man 2," and "Toy Story 3." "Eclipse's" stars will be looking to collect a little hardware as well, as Kristen Stewart is up for Favorite Actress and Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are nominated for Favorite Actor. The trio is also nominated for Favorite On-Screen Team, while Pattinson and Stewart will compete for Favorite Movie Star Under 25.
Other big names nominated for a People's Choice Award include Lady Gaga and Eminem. Both artists picked up four nods, and will compete against one another in the categories of Favorite Song and Favorite Music Video. The Facebook film "The Social Network" is up for Favorite Drama Movie, while MTV's hit reality series "Jersey Shore" will compete against fellow Garden State stars "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" for Favorite TV Guilty Pleasure.
Hosted by actress Queen Latifah, the 37th annual People's Choice Awards will be presented tonight in Los Angeles. CBS will air the ceremony, beginning at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
