Taylor Swift Celebrates Career With Party at Nashville's Hard Rock Cafe

Taylor Swift gathered Friday evening with family, friends, bandmates and music industry executives to celebrate her career successes as she prepares to launch a 90-date world tour next month in Singapore. The party was held at the Hard Rock Café in downtown Nashville. Among the awards presented were several for the No. 1 success of her "Mine" single and video and a plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America commemorating total shipments of more than 13 million records. In addition to presentations made by Scott Borchetta, president and CEO of Big Machine Records, other plaques were delivered by representatives of BMI, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Country Aircheck, Music Row magazine, Country Radio Broadcasters, the Country Music Association, Universal Music Group Distribution, Nielsen SoundScan and CMT. The party was billed as "Heavy Metal at the Hard Rock."
