Smoker Nearly Causes Emergency On Plane

(Ft. Myers, FL) -- Criminal charges could be filed against a man who caused an emergency by lighting up on a plane. Reports of smoke in the cabin recently caused personnel and equipment to be positioned along the runway at Southwest Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers to wait for a JetBlue flight from Buffalo to land safely. However, there wasn't a fire or electrical problem but rather a smoker. One of the passengers on the flight lit up a cigarette shortly before landing. Smoking has been banned for a decade on domestic flights so the FBI will decide if charges will be filed. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
