Shirt Ignites While Driving

(Kennewick, WA) -- A Washington state man is recovering from burns suffered when his shirt caught on fire while he was driving out of a gas station. The unfortunate incident happened last week when K.J. Glenn spilled some gasoline on his shirt as he filled his tank at a Kennewick SunMart. Glenn decided to light up a smoke as he was leaving and that set the shirt alight. He had two other people with him at the time and all three bailed out through the windows while the car was still moving. The empty vehicle smacked into another car and then a flag pole, but nobody else was hurt. Glenn was taken to a Seattle-area hospital with first- and second-degree burns.
