Pat Green, Steve Azar Playing In Bob Hope Classic

Pat Green and Steve Azar are spending this week in sunny Southern California golfing -- for a cause. They're among the stars taking part in the 2011 Bob Hope Classic charity golf tournament. The benefit event raises money for a variety of organizations in the Palm Springs, California area. While Steve is a returning celebrity, Pat is among those making their debut at this year's event. Other first-timers on board for the tournament include hockey great Wayne Gretzky; former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard; actors Rob Morrow, Peter Gallagher and Scott Wolf; and "American Idol" producer Nigel Lythgoe. Other returning stars include former Eagle Don Felder, actor Kyle MacLachlan, "Saturday Night Live" alum Kevin Nealon, and TV personality John O'Hurley. Rocker Alice Cooper is on board for his 13th Bob Hope Classic in 14 years, while comedian Tom Dreesen is marking his 17th consecutive year as a participant.

The 2011 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic golf tournament officially began Monday at various courses in the Palm Springs, California area. The celebrity golfing began yesterday, and continues through Sunday. The Golf Channel will provide coverage of the event.
