Shania Twain isn't the only country star who's a New Year's Day bride. Kellie Pickler also tied the knot over the weekend. Few details have been revealed about the wedding, but a rep for the singer confirms that she and her fiancé, songwriter Kyle Jacobs, quote, "were married in an intimate ceremony on Saturday, January 1, 2011 on a private island in the Caribbean." Friends had paved the way for Pickler and Jacobs to meet three years ago, and Jacobs popped the question last summer. He proposed on a beach in Florida on June 15th, which is a special date for Pickler because it's her late grandmother's birthday.
Shania also got married on New Year's Day, and also in the Caribbean. She exchanged vows with husband Frederic Thiebaud in a ceremony in Puerto Rico last Saturday.
