Ex-School Bus Driver Pleads Guilty To DUI

(Mount Prospect, IL) -- A former school bus driver in Illinois will be sentenced later this month after driving students while drunk. Betty Burden used to drive a bus in Mount Prospect but was arrested last March after she dropped off students at Lions Park Elementary School. Officials say she had a blood-alcohol content of nearly three times the legal limit at the time of her arrest. There were no reports of any injuries but the incident led to the district hiring a private company to run its bus operation.
