100-Year-Old Woman Delivers Meals On Wheels
An elderly Missouri woman isn't letting her age stop her from helping others. KMBC.com is reporting that Maurene Bartlett continues to help with the Meals on Wheels program, despite turning 100 last Friday. Bartlett began assisting the program 15 years ago with her granddaughter Kim Schultz. Schultz says at the time she just needed someone to stay in the car with her infant daughter, but Bartlett wound up becoming a dedicated part of the program. Bartlett says she has no plans of slowing down, stating, quote, "I'll do this as long as I can. Or as long as Kim can stand me."
