Woman Delivers Her Own Baby In Her Car

An Oregon woman played a very active role in the birth of her child earlier this week. According to "The Oregonian," Jennifer Scharffenberg and her husband, Erik, were on the way to the hospital Wednesday morning when Jennifer gave birth in the passenger seat of their car. The baby fortunately arrived in good health, and Jennifer and Erick pulled over on the side of the road and called 911. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue arrived a short time later and took Sharffenberg and her baby girl to the hospital.
