Reese Witherspoon is shining brightly among the stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. The Oscar-winning actress was on hand to witness the unveiling of her star on the famed walk Wednesday in front of the W Hollywood Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. Witherspoon's "Legally Blonde" canine co-star, Bruiser the Chihuahua, was also on hand for the ceremony as was Oscar winning director James L. Brooks who guided Witherspoon through her upcoming movie "How Do You Know." The 34-year-old actress thanked the "community of people" who helped her achieve her level of success in the film industry, noting the key roles that directors, writers and crew members have played in her 20-year career. Hers is the two-thousandth-425th star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Witherspoon landed her first film role in 1991's "The Man In The Moon." She won the Best Actress Oscar in 2005 for her portrayal of June Carter Cash in "Walk The Line." Reese Witherspoon's new film, "How Do You Know," co-starring Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson, opens in theaters on December 17th.
