Charlie Sheen's estranged wife is getting additional support for sobriety. TMZ.com says Brooke Mueller checked into a sober living facility Friday in Los Angeles. Her lawyer, Yale Galanter, confirmed the report, but insists she did not have a relapse and that the move was made to "maintain her health." Mueller, who has been in and out of rehab over the last few years, reportedly spent part of the Thanksgiving holiday in a sober house. Sources say Mueller's two children with Sheen are currently staying with her parents. Sheen filed for divorce from Mueller on November 1st.
The filing came almost a year after the couple separated following an alcohol-fueled dispute that landed the "Two and a Half Men" TV star behind bars on Christmas Day 2009. It also came about a week after Sheen was hospitalized following a disturbance at a New York City hotel. His publicist said the actor had suffered an adverse allergic reaction to medication.
