Reba McEntire notes she's very happy for Blake Shelton as he gets ready to tie the knot with fiancée Miranda Lambert. Reba says Shelton is like a member of her family, telling TheBoot.com, quote, "I really do have a maternal relationship with Blake." There is a family connection between Blake and Reba. Shelton's manager is Brandon Blackstock, who is Reba's stepson. The Lambert-Shelton ceremony will be the second celebrity wedding for Reba in a matter of months. McEntire was a bridesmaid for actress JoAnna Garcia, her on-screen daughter Cheyenne on the sitcom "Reba." Garcia married New York Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher earlier this month in Florida. But Reba says Shelton's wedding will be "totally different." She adds that she expects to enjoy herself at the ceremony, noting, quote, "Anything to do with Blake and Miranda is always a lot of fun."
Neither Shelton nor Lambert have announced a wedding date. However, Shelton recently indicated that plans were under way for a May event.
