Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift CDs Among 2010's Top Selling Internationally
Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift's 2010 releases aren't just big in the U.S. Lady A's "Need You Now" and Swift's "Speak Now" are among the top five best-selling albums of the year across the globe. "Need You Now" is ranking fourth on the list with international sales of three-point-six-million copies. "Speak Now" sold three-point-five million units to land at number five. Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" tops the list on sales of five-point-eight-million. Eminem's "Recovery" follows at number two, and Justin Bieber's "My Worlds" has the number three spot. The German website Media Traffic put together the list using a number of different data sources from around the world. Both "Need You Now," which was released back in January, and "Speak Now," which arrived in late October, have logged sales of more than three-million in the U.S. as well. Swift's "Fearless" is on the list as well. Her 2008 release is ranked 27th among the 40 titles, with sales of one-point-three-million internationally in 2010.
