"People" Names Sandra Bullock: "Woman Of The Year"

"People" magazine is declaring Sandra Bullock "Woman Of The Year." The Oscar winner graces the cover of the special issue that turns the spotlight on "People's" picks for the 25 "Most Intriguing" people of 2010. Bullock was singled out for the lofty title for carrying herself through a year of highs and lows that saw her win her first Oscar for "The Blind Side," weather the break up of her marriage to motorcycle builder Jesse James, and celebrate the joys of motherhood with the adoption of a baby boy from New Orleans. In August, Forbes.com also declared Bullock the highest paid actress in Hollywood.

Other celebrities that made People's "Most Intriguing" list include Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who were named "Glam Parents." Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was named "The Big Gun" of 2010, and female rapper Nicki Minaj earned the title "Rap Renegade." "People" also turned the spotlight on some low points for several celebrities this year, adding Mel Gibson's domestic abuse investigation to its "Hall of Shame." The special edition of "People" hits newsstands on Friday.
