Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery Recovering From Cancer Surgery

Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery is doing well following surgery for prostate cancer. A post on the duo's website says the singer underwent a procedure last week, and doctors are optimistic about his prognosis. Montgomery is currently at home recovering from the operation, and he isn't expected to need any additional treatment. The country star says he's looking forward to being back on his feet again soon. He notes, quote, "I'm ready to get on the road and raise some hell next year!!" Montgomery Gentry's schedule for 2011 includes a few concerts in February, with stops in Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska as well as a show in Wendover, Nevada. The duo is also expected to go on a USO Tour early in the year.
