MANY AMERICANS STILL HAVEN'T STARTED HOLIDAY SHOPPING

So how's that holiday shopping going? While Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, 54-percent of those answering a new Rasmussen Reports poll note they still haven't started purchasing presents. Only ten-percent say they're finished with their shopping, while another six-percent can brag that they were done before Thanksgiving. When it comes to procrastinating, men are more likely to be the ones dragging their feet. Three out of five guys are putting off the task, compared to 49-percent of the ladies. However, more men than women are among the ranks of those who've completed their seasonal shopping. Most of the currently active shoppers are adults between the ages of 30 and 49. In addition, more folks are turning to the Internet this year to meet their gift needs. Nearly two-thirds say they're going online to find at least some of their presents, which is an eight-percent increase from 2009.
