Lady Antebellum is earning big recognition for their hit CD "Need You Now." The trio is the top country nominee for the 53rd annual GRAMMY Awards on the strength of their sophomore album, with bids in six categories -- three General Field and three Country categories. The disc is up for Album of the Year and Best Country Album, while the title track to "Need You Now" has given the group a shot at Record of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal and Best Country Song. Zac Brown's name is popping up in four categories -- including three group nods and a bid for Best Country Song for writing "Free."
Miranda Lambert, Gretchen Wilson, Dierks Bentley, and Jamey Johnson are multiple nominees as well, while newcomers Chris Young and The Band Perry are among those who've also been recognized. Rapper Eminem is the top nominee for the event overall, with ten chances to win. The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13th and air live on CBS.
