Lady A's Charles Kelley Says Fame's Benefits Far Outweigh Drawbacks
The members of Lady Antebellum are discovering that their skyrocketing success comes at a cost. The trio's Charles Kelley tells TheBoot.com what he dislikes the most is not having much control over his schedule -- which he admits also has to do with the place they are in their career trajectory. He explains, quote, "We're at that stage where you have to go, go, go, go, go! There are times where we naturally get a little burned out and just want to have a few days to sit at home, watch TV and just relax and just check out. Your mind never really gets to check out." But he adds that the trade off has been a "small price to pay." Kelley says, quote, "Honestly, we've been given the golden ticket here and so we're going to try to run with it and appreciate it and realize that it doesn't happen often." Lady Antebellum are currently promoting their single "Hello World," their fourth single from their massively successful sophomore CD, "Need You Now."
