Elderly Woman Bashes Attacker With Frying Pan

(Hutchinson, PA) -- A would-be attacker caught a frying pan beat-down courtesy of the 71-year-old Pennsylvania woman he tried to victimize. Police Sergeant John Moore tells the "Hutchinson-News" 25-year-old Kevin Funderburk talked his way into the woman's home. Once inside, he allegedly attacked the woman and tried to sexually assault her. Moore says the victim, fighting for her life, quote, "beat him down with a frying pan." Police arrived to find the suspect unconscious in a pile of his own vomit. Funderburk spent several days in the hospital and now faces a laundry list of felony charges.
