David Nail Excited To Earn First Career GRAMMY Nomination

David Nail is among the first-time GRAMMY nominees at next year's event. He's in the running for Best Male Country Vocal Performance with his hit "Turning Home." The singer describes how he learned of his nomination last Wednesday night, noting, quote, "I was checking ESPN.COM one last time before getting into bed when my phone vibrated. I was scared to answer and wake up my wife, but I simply whispered 'Hello.' All I remember is my manager screaming and me falling to the floor!" Nail adds, quote, "Without question, the greatest moment of my career! I will forever be GRAMMY Nominated! Wow!" Nail's competition includes Toby Keith's "Cryin' For Me (Wayman's Song)," Keith Urban's "'Til Summer Comes Around," Jamey Johnson's "Macon," and Chris Young's "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)." The 53rd annual GRAMMY Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Los Angeles, and air live on CBS on February 13th.
