(New York, NY) -- The CBS "Morning Show" is getting a facelift. Co-anchors Harry Smith and Maggie Rodriguez are out, as is weather forecaster Dave Price. "USA Today" reports the trio will be replaced in January by a new team. News anchor Jeff Glor, anchors Erica Hill and Chris Wragge and weather forecaster Marysol Castro take over on Monday, January 3rd. Low ratings motivated the changes, according to Sean McManus, the president of CBS News. "The content of the show has been first-rate the last six months, but ratings have not grown the way we'd like to have seen them grown," he said.
Hill and Wragge currently anchor the Saturday edition of the Early Show. In addition, Wragge is also a co-anchor at WCBS, the network's flagship station in New York. Jeff Glor, who anchors Saturday's CBS Evening News, takes over as the show's news anchor, and Marysol Castro, formerly of "Good Morning America's" weekend edition, will provide weather reports.
