Boredom Leads Man To Make Fake 911 Calls
A Tennessee man apparently needs to find a more productive way to spend his time. According to the "Clarksville Leaf Chronicle," Alex Lee Baker was arrested last Sunday for making three fake calls to 911. Within the course of one hour, the 20-year-old allegedly told authorities that he had witnessed a murder and had been stabbed. Clarksville police eventually traced the calls back to Baker's cell phone. He later claimed that he didn't make the calls and hadn't seen his phone in quite some time. After investigating the incident further, authorities were able to determine that Baker was lying and that he did in fact make the calls. Baker went on to admit that he had just been bored, adding that he hadn't smoked a cigarette in two days. He is now facing three counts of false report.
