Taylor Swift Wins At Billboard Touring Awards

Taylor Swift has one of the top treks of this year. The singer's "Fearless 2010 Tour" earned the title of Top Package at the 2010 Billboard Touring Awards. Her trek, with openers Kellie Pickler and Gloriana, got the nod over Brad Paisley's "H2O Tour" and Tim McGraw's "Southern Voice" trek. The Paisley tour also featured Darius Rucker and Justin Moore on the main stage while Easton Corbin, Josh Thompson, and Steel Magnolia performed on the trek's Water World Plaza stage. McGraw's "Southern Voice" tour included Lady Antebellum, Love And Theft, and the Lost Trailers as openers. Swift becomes just the second artist to capture this award. Kenny Chesney was the first -- and -- until now -- the only winner in the category. But Chesney wasn't even a nominee this time around, since he didn't tour in 2010.

Zac Brown Band was in the running for the Concert Marketing and Promotion Award with their "Letters For Lyrics" campaign with Ran Trucks, but fell to "Virgin Mobile Presents the Monster Ball starring Lady Gaga." The 2010 Billboard Touring Awards were presented in New York Thursday night as part of the two-day Billboard 7th annual Touring Conference and Awards.
