Oprah Winfrey's studio audience has a few new things to be thankful for this holiday season. In the second installment of her two-part "Favorite Things" episode, the talk show queen gave away a slew of goodies -- including a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. While the totally redesigned car hasn't been officially unveiled yet, the company sent a prototype from Germany to Oprah's studio so Oprah could give viewers a sneak peek of the special upcoming vehicle. Other big-ticket items Winfrey showered upon her audience include a pair of diamond earrings worth approximately 19-hundred dollars, a special ten-piece "Oprah Set" of Le Cruset cookware, valued at 599-dollars, an Apple iPad, and a 500-dollar Nordstrom gift card for a lingerie shopping spree.
Monday's giveaway followed Oprah's gift-bonanza on Friday. That studio audience also received a wide variety of items, including a 52-inch Sony Bravia 3-D TV valued at 36-hundred dollars, a diamond-studded Oprah 25th anniversary watch, valued at two-thousand-475 dollars, and cashmere sweaters from designer Ralph Lauren, as well as an all-inclusive seven-day cruise.
