Omaha Man Tries To Eat Pot During Traffic Stop

(Omaha, NE) -- A Nebraska man is in trouble with the law after he allegedly tried to eat marijuana during a traffic stop so police wouldn't catch him with it. It happened last week in Omaha and the suspect is a 20-year-old man who was a passenger when police stopped the driver for speeding. Police say they smelled the marijuana in the car and that the man tried to eat the pot after police asked them to step out of the vehicle. Police charged the man with tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver got a speeding ticket.
