Miranda Lambert will be showing off her leaner physique at the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards tonight. The event's top nominee tells "People" magazine she's now wearing a size six, and she's had to have all her old clothes altered to fit her new figure. She explains that she wasn't looking to simply shed pounds, but wanted to lose, quote, "the jiggles and wiggles." Lambert says she's been getting toned with the help of a personal trainer, who she says has been "kicking my butt." Fiancé Blake Shelton is supportive of Miranda's fitness efforts. He says he's proud of her for setting a goal and doing what it took to achieve it. Shelton adds, quote, "She looks amazing."
Tonight isn't just CMA night for Miranda. It's also her 27th birthday. She says she intends to celebrate after the awards -- and not watch her diet. The singer notes, quote, "I plan to eat! I haven't eaten pizza in 30 days and I can't wait!" The 44th annual CMA Awards will take place in Nashville and air on ABC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
