Man Loses Life Savings On Roof Of His Car
A U.K. resident recently lost his entire life savings during his commute to work. According to the "Daily Mail," a man lost more than 124-thousand-dollars after placing it on the roof of his car. The man -- who asked not to be identified -- says he's never trusted banks, and was attempting to move the money from his home to work. The man says it took him a few hours to realize he had lost the money, adding that all he ever found were the plastic bags the cash was contained in. He remarks, quote, "I'm gutted. I don't hold out much hope of getting it back but if I do I will give a reward to whoever brings it back." Essex police have also asked that the money be returned.
