Man Gets Stolen GPS Back During Repairs

(Troy, MI) -- A Michigan man somehow managed to get his stolen in-dash GPS system back, but in a very roundabout way. He had taken the vehicle to a dealership to be repaired after the device was stolen in the middle of October. Noticing the settings were similar, the "Detroit News" reports he hit the eject button on the CD player and out popped an old Johnny Cash CD of his. The Troy Police Department says the odds had to be astounding. Lieutenant Robert Redmond said the device had to have been, quote, "sent from the thief to the fence to auto parts store to the auto dealer and installed back in his car."
