Funeral Home Owner Arrested Again

(Anniston, AL) -- A funeral home owner in Alabama has been arrested just five days after his fifth arrest this year. The "Anniston Star" reports Reverend Jeffery Williams, owner of Anniston Funeral Service Incorporated, is accused of a misdemeanor in refusing to surrender a corpse. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department reports 41-year-old Williams was served with a civil order to release a body at his funeral home he picked up without the consent of the deceased man's brother.
