"American Idol" is on the move. The Fox network has announced a new night for its hit singing reality competition. Beginning January 19th and 20th, "Idol" will air on Wednesday and Thursday nights, instead of Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The tenth season of "Idol" will kick off with a two-hour season premiere on January 19th, starting at 8:00 pm Eastern. The show will settle into its regular one hour slot the following week with episodes of "Human Target" following "Idol" on Wednesday nights and episodes of "Bones" following the series on Thursday nights.
In other Fox programming news, the network also announced that it would not be ordering additional episodes for either "The Good Guys" or "Running Wilde," effectively placing the shows on its canceled list. The series finale for "The Good Guys" is scheduled to air on December 10th. A final air date for "Running Wilde" has yet to be announced.
