FAVORITE LESLIE NIELSEN ROLES

The late Leslie Nielsen will likely best be remembered as Detective Frank Drebin. The comedic actor's role in the "Police Squad" and "Naked Gun" series is taking 51-percent of the vote in an ongoing AccessHollywood.com poll asking, quote, "What is your all-time favorite Leslie Nielsen character?" Dr. Rumack from the movie "Airplane!" is getting the nod from 37-percent. Thirteen-percent like him best as Captain Harrison in "The Poseidon Adventure." Nielsen died Sunday from complications from pneumonia. His many other screen credits include the films "Forbidden Planet," "Creepshow," "Mr. Magoo," and "Spy Hard." He also made a variety of guest appearances on such TV series as "M*A*S*H," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," "The Virginian," "Lucas Tanner," and "Kung Fu." Nielsen was 84.
