Father Arrested For Attacking Referee At Pee-Wee Hockey Game
An overzealous Connecticut father was sent to the penalty box after starting a fight at his son's pee-wee hockey game. The "Middletown Press" is reporting that Giuseppe F. Solla Sr. was arrested last Saturday for allegedly fighting with a referee at his son's game. Witnesses called Cromwell police after the 41-year-old reportedly became upset over some of the calls made against his son. Solla and the referee began exchanging words, and the situation eventually escalated to "pushing and grabbing." Bystanders were eventually able to break-up the fight, and police went on to charge Solla with breach of peace. He is due in Middlesex Superior Court on November 9th.
