Darryl Worley is inviting fans to witness the launch of the new medical facility that bears his name. The grand opening of the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center will take place this morning in the singer's hometown of Savannah, Tennessee. The event includes a ribbon cutting. Worley, Hardin County Mayor Kevin Davis, and Savannah Mayor Bob Shutt are among those expected to speak. Worley has been an active supporter of the center. In addition to using his celebrity to bring attention to the facility he's also contributing 600-thousand-dollars to the one-point-seven-million-dollar project through the Darryl Worley Foundation. The country star raised the money over the past several years with his annual Tennessee River Run and other charity events.
