Failed Marriage Proposal Leads Man To Try And Run Over Ex

Authorities believe a California man's failed marriage proposal led to his arrest last week on assault with a deadly weapon charges. According to KTLA.com, Francisco Hernandez is accused of trying to run over his ex-girlfriend last Thursday. The 22-year-old Pico Rivera resident reportedly just missed hitting the woman before jumping a curb, driving over the sidewalk, and into a parking lot. Hernandez then drove off, despite having two flat tires. The ex-girlfriend was not harmed during the incident. Hernandez was eventually located by police and placed behind bars on 30-thousand-dollars bail.
