Dog Biscuits Served At McDonald's
(Westfield, MA) -- Complaints about dog biscuits being served at a McDonald's in Westfield, Massachusetts, have resulted in disciplinary action against two employees. The owner of the restaurant in question says he has fired one employee and suspended another after some Westfield State University students said they were served dog biscuits with their French fries. The students said the dog biscuits were served in their take-out order and when they complained, were told they were banned from the restaurant. Publication of the incident was widespread on campus through postings on Facebook and e-mails to students and faculty. Franchise owner Dan Ashman, who was notified about the incident by the university, is conducting an internal investigation and has offered to formally apologize to the students involved.
