Couple Incorporates Heavy Machinery Into Wedding

A couple in China became local celebrities with their unique wedding celebration. According to the "Dahe Daily," Zhang Zongqiang and his bride, Ye Yuzi, decided to use a fleet of excavators instead of wedding cars. The 35-year-old newly-minted husband is employed by a construction company, and thought using his work connections would be a great way to save money. The move became more than just a smart financial decision, as several people lined the streets to watch their wedding procession make its way down the road. Ye Yuzi says she wasn't thrilled by the idea at first, but is very happy with how their wedding turned out. She states, quote, "Standing in the front of an excavator was freezing, but it was all worth it. I was so excited I had to hold his hand tight so I didn't slip out of the bucket."
