Blake Shelton Has Plenty To Be Thankful For In 2010

Blake Shelton has celebrated a lot of firsts this year. He was honored with his first ACM, CMA and CMT Awards for his number one hit, "Hillbilly Bone" with Trace Adkins. The singer is grateful for the recognition, saying, quote, "This has been the best year of my life. I would have been excited just to have one of these things happen to me, but to have them all happen in the same year -- words cannot describe how I feel." In addition, Shelton released three albums in 2010 -- the six paks "Hillbilly Bone" and "All About Tonight," and the hits collection "LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton," which debuted in the top ten on the country charts this week. Blake admits he feels blessed, noting, quote, "It is truly a humbling experience. I am going to have to write Santa a letter and make sure he knows he doesn't need to send me anything this year."

More recognition could still come Shelton's way. He's nominated for Music Video of the Year and Music Video: Male for "Hillbilly Bone" at next month's 1st annual American Country Awards. The ceremony will take place at The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and air live on Fox on Monday, December 6th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
