Bicyclist Robbed Of His Beer

(Joliet, IL) -- An Illinois bicyclist had a rough ride when he was smacked on the head and robbed of his beer. Police in Joliet say the 47-year-old man told them he was riding around late last Wednesday night when a dark sedan pulled up in front of him. A passenger got out of the car and asked the man for help. Before he could answer, another person came up from behind and hit him in the head, causing him to spill the case of beer he was carrying. The men grabbed the beer, got back into the car and left the scene. The victim refused medical treatment and said he was okay.
