Thief Gets Stuck In Restaurant's Grease Vent
A South Carolina man ruined his robbery attempt earlier this week. TheState.com is reporting that Kevin Michael Harley was arrested Monday morning after getting stuck in a North Charleston restaurant's grease vent. An employee at Shoney's entered the building and heard Harley yelling for help. When police arrived, they found the 23-year-old stuck vertically in the vent. Harley -- who was wearing socks on his hands to avoid leaving fingerprints -- told police he entered the vent on Sunday night. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment before being taken to jail on burglary charges.
