Taylor Swift Plans Special Event To Launch New CD

Taylor Swift is planning to launch her new CD with a very special event. The singer will celebrate the arrival of "Speak Now" with a performance at the United Nations in New York City on the disc's October 25th release date. Swift is teaming up with CMT and MTV Networks for the upcoming event. Her concert event will be streamed internationally on MTVN Music Group sites including CMT.com, MTV.com, and VH1.com as well as in Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America. The streaming of Taylor's show will begin approximately 5:00 p.m. Eastern on October 25th.
