Reba, Womack, McBride, Wilson On Board For Loretta Lynn Tribute
Reba McEntire will be at the helm for the upcoming tribute concert for Loretta Lynn. CMT.com says Reba has been tapped to host the Recording Academy event, taking place in Nashville next month. Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, and Gretchen Wilson are also on board for the show, along with The White Stripes' Jack White. Lynn teamed up with the rocker for her GRAMMY-winning 2004 CD "Van Lear Rose." More stars are expected to sign on for the gala. The ceremony is celebrating Lynn as the recipient of the President's Merit Award, in recognition of her lengthy and influential career and her great contributions to country music. This year Lynn is marking her 50th anniversary as a recording artist. The GRAMMY Salute To Country Music honoring Loretta Lynn is set for Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on October 12th.
