Jimmy Smits' return to the small screen is paying off big, so far, for NBC. The network's new courtroom drama "Outlaw," starring Smits as an ex-Supreme Court justice looking out for "the little guy," was the most-watched scripted program last week, according to new figures from Nielsen Media Research. "Outlaw" averaged ten-point-seven million viewers last Wednesday to help NBC to a second consecutive first-place finish in the weekly primetime TV ratings. Its lead-in -- the two-hour season finale of "America's Got Talent" -- averaged more than 16 million viewers to become the week's most-watched entertainment program and the third-most watched program overall, behind "Sunday Night Football" which drew more than 23-million viewers.NBC was the week's most-watched network averaging, almost nine-million viewers for primetime programming. CBS was second with just under eight million viewers, followed by ABC which averaged five-point-two-million viewers. Fox finished in fourth place with just under four-million viewers.
