The cast for the new season of CBS' globe-trotting reality show competition "The Amazing Race" has been unveiled. This season's diverse cast of racers include a team of Home Shopping hosts, a cappella singers and a birth mother and daughter team who were recently reunited after the mother gave up her daughter for adoption more than 20 years ago. Eleven teams, comprised of two people each, are competing this go-around. Each team competes in a series of challenges at every destination. Teams who are farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses. A grand prize of one-million-dollars awaits the first team to arrive at the final destination.Contestants will travel over 32-thousand miles on this season of "The Amazing Race," covering four continents and 30 cities. Hosted by Phil Keoghan, the new season will premiere with a special 90-minute debut on Sunday, September 26th, starting at 8:30 pm Eastern on CBS.
