Lindsay Lohan Sends Father Cease And Desist Letter Over Property

Actress Lindsay Lohan has fired off a cease and desist letter to her father, Michael Lohan. RadarOnline.com reports that the correspondence from Lindsay's lawyer orders Michael to discontinue his alleged sale of her diary. Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley sent a letter to Michael Lohan's lawyer, Lisa Bloom, dated the day before her client left rehab at UCLA Medical Center last week. It alleges that Michael has been trying to sell excerpts from a diary the actress kept while in rehab at the Cirque Lodge in Utah back in 2007. Holley writes that Lindsay had no idea Michael had the diary and has not given him permission to sell or distribute anything from it. The actress is said to be "appalled" and will seek damages for "grave invasion of privacy" if her father continues to try and sell her diary entries.

Lindsay Lohan slams her father in the new issue of "Vanity Fair" magazine that hits newsstands on September 7th. In an interview with the publication, she says she isn't taking the drugs her father claims she is taking. Lohan also says her focus will be on her acting career once again. She says, quote, "I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a...good actress."
