Moss Of Tempe, Arizona Wins It All On "Big Brother"

Hayden Moss of Tempe, Arizona is a cool-half-million-dollars richer after Wednesday's two-hour season finale of CBS' "Big Brother." The Arizona State University student won based on a vote of four to three from a jury comprised of previous house mates. Taking second place -- and a 50-thousand dollar prize -- was Lane Elenburg, an oil rig salesman from Decatur, Texas. Going into Wednesday's competition, Moss and Elenburg were in position to duel it out in a final Head of Household challenge. A third finalist, Enzo Palumbo of Bayonne, New Jersey sat out that competition after coming in third in "HOH" challenges last week. After answering more questions correctly in a "Big Brother" trivia quiz, Moss won the final "HOH" competition. This allowed the 24-year-old to select Elenburg as his final competitor. Moss promptly evicted Palumbo -- saying the quick-witted 32-year-old's excellent social game was too much of a threat.

This left the two competitors' fates up to the seven-member jury. Palumbo, Matt Hoffman of Elgin, Illinois; Ragan Fox of West Hollywood, California; Kathy Hillis of Texarkana, Arkansas; Britney Haynes of Huntington, Arkansas; Brendon Villegas of Riverside, California; and Rachel Reilly of Las Vegas, Nevada cast their votes, narrowly awarding 500-grand to Moss.
