"America's Got Talent" Finds A Winner In Michael Grimm

Singer Michael Grimm is the latest winner on NBC's "America's Got Talent." E! Online notes the 30-year-old musician didn't seem to expect to come out of the competition on top. His shock was evident as he got the nod, and earned the show's one-million-dollar prize. At the start of the two-hour fifth season finale, the field of four also included opera singer Prince Poppycock, performing group Fighting Gravity, and ten-yer-old vocalist Jackie Evancho -- who was considered the favorite heading into the finale. Poppycock was the first to be eliminated followed by Fighting Gravity, while Evancho is landing in the runner up spot.

Along with naming the winner, the finale featured numerous performances -- including some collaborations. Grimm teamed up with Jewel for a performance of "Me and Bobby McGee," while Evancho sang a duet with famed soprano Sarah Brightman and Poppycock shared the spotlight with disco diva Donna Summer. Other guest performers included Usher, Lionel Richie, and David Copperfield, along with the cast of the Cirque du Soleil show "LOVE."
