Middle School Student Arrested Over Facebook Threats

A middle school student in Kentucky is in hot water over comments he made on Facebook. Kentucky.com is reporting that a student at Jessie Clark Middle School was arrested Monday after he posted threats against the school on the social networking site. Police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says the posts were made between August 18th and 25th, adding that they, quote, "basically referred to the destruction of the school." The boy -- who has been charged with second-degree terroristic threatening -- claims the comments were just a joke. He is now facing disciplinary action from the school district as well as the juvenile court system.
