British Man Makes Replica Of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
A man in the U.K. has made a replica of the vehicle from the 1968 film "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." Stuart Wallis tells the U.K.'s "Orange" news that he was motivated to take on the project after one of his daughter's watched the film and challenged him to make a similar vehicle. The 52-year-old and his friends proceeded to spend the next three months turning a 1976 Land Rover into their very own version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Wallis' new ride features a one-thousand watt amplifier and loudspeakers that play songs from the film. It also includes eight sets of air horns that create animal noises and police sirens. Wallis remarks, quote, "The children all helped with the building of the car so they were all aware of how it was progressing but now it is finished I don't think they can quite believe it."
